Second Annual Oral Health Prevention Summit Returns to Boston on January 28, 2026

Boston, MA — The second annual Oral Health Prevention Summit (OHPS) is set to take place on January 28, 2026, bringing together the nation’s leading dental professionals, innovators, educators, and industry stakeholders unified by one urgent mission: accelerating the shift from reactive dentistry to prevention-driven care.

This year’s summit is centered around a powerful theme: “How to Make Prevention Profitable.”

As dental practices, DSOs, health systems, and public health leaders push toward a more proactive model of care, the OHPS offers the strategies, tools, and insights needed to successfully integrate prevention into clinical, operational, and business frameworks.

The Summit is honored to welcome Margherita R. Fontana, DDS, PhD as the 2026 Keynote Speaker.

Dr. Fontana is recognized globally for her pioneering work in caries management, risk-based care, and translational research that bridges science with everyday practice. Her keynote will set the stage for a day of high-impact learning and future-focused collaboration.

New for 2026 is the Prevention Ecosystem Workshop, a first-of-its-kind addition to OHPS. The workshop is a dynamic, fast-paced showcase where leading product innovators introduce breakthrough preventive solutions—and demonstrate how to integrate them seamlessly into practice.

This workshop creates a 360-degree view of the prevention ecosystem—what’s emerging, what’s scalable, and what’s implementable now. This hands-on, interactive session includes downloadable resources and rapid-fire presentations and guided demonstrations across a wide spectrum of modern preventive care, including:

  • AI-driven clinical tools
  • Salivary diagnostics and personalized risk scoring
  • Teledentistry + remote monitoring models
  • Airway assessment and early intervention strategies
